Pallas Textiles Introduces First-Ever Biodegradable Performance Vinyl Upholstery at NeoCon 2025
Press Release • May 27, 2025

Reve Collection debuts with Hyphyn™—a bold step forward in sustainable design with no compromise on beauty or durability.
GREEN BAY – Pallas Textiles is proud to announce the launch of the Reve Collection, premiering at NeoCon 2025, June 9-11, in showroom #1181 at The Mart. At the heart of Reve is Hyphyn Biodegradable Vinyl, the industry’s first and only performance upholstery vinyl verified to biodegrade in landfill conditions—without leaving behind toxic residues or microplastics.
Hyphyn sets an unprecedented environmental benchmark: over 90 percent biodegradation within 24 months, resulting in soil with 100 percent plant germination and no harmful byproducts. It’s a radical shift in material lifecycle thinking. Paired with Pallas’ timeless aesthetic and design leadership, it offers a next-generation solution that combines responsibility, resilience, and refinement.
“Reve is more than a material—it’s a movement,” said Dean Lindsley, vice president of Pallas Textiles. “The first of its kind in the industry, Reve reimagines what’s possible when sustainability and design sophistication move in step. We believe high-performance textiles should meet the needs of today’s designers and the expectations of tomorrow’s world. Reve brings that belief to life.”
With seven richly expressive, pattern-forward designs, Reve is the most extensive biodegradable vinyl collection of its kind showcased at NeoCon this year—and a standout contender in both the Best of NeoCon and HiP Awards. Each pattern is engineered for enduring performance yet infused with a spirit of elegance and environmental intention.
“We’re showing that sustainable design doesn’t have to be predictable or subdued,” added Lindsley. “Reve speaks with boldness, beauty, and care. It’s not just a collection—it’s an invitation to design with greater purpose. With Reve, we begin to shape a future that’s inspired, intentional, and deeply sustainable.”
Meet the Designer
Pallas Textiles is also pleased to host Geraldine Blanchot Fortier of Limn & Loom, the designer behind Reve, Prisme, and several signature collections. Attendees can connect with Geraldine in the showroom on Monday and Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to hear the story behind Reve and the spirit that shaped it.
Uplifting New Talent
Also on display will be the winning design from a student competition hosted in partnership with Pallas Textiles, KI Furniture, and the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD). Selected for this emotional impact and adaptive design, Julianna Frixione and her winning design called Vivacious, will be featured on a lounge chair in the showroom, accompanied by her inspiration board and personal design story.
The Dream Tree – Rooted in Renewal. Grown from Intention.
Inspired by the tradition of a wish tree, The Dream Tree invites NeoCon guests to pause, reflect, and plant possibility. Using a plantable pencil and recycled paper, visitors can write a dream—for themselves, for the planet, or for the future of design—and tie it to the tree with reclaimed Pallas yarn.
In return, guests are gifted a keepsake: a Pallas x Hyphyn bag charm for their Hyphyn tote—a small symbol of hope, transformation, and conscious creation.
