MIAD Design Contest
Pallas Textiles is proud to spotlight Julianna Frixione, a student at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) and winner of the 2025 Textile Design Competition in partnership with KI. A product design major with a passion for softgoods and textiles, Julianna’s winning concept draws from the principles of biophilic design—using nature-inspired forms to foster calm, connection, and well-being. Her work reflects a belief that thoughtful design can seamlessly stitch innovation and sustainability into everyday life.
