Design Days 2026

A Lasting Impression from Fulton Market
At Design Days, we explored the connection between art, material, and experience through the lens of Impressionism. From the debut of the Giverny Collection to textile artistry, material innovation, and moments of inspiration throughout our new home in Fulton Market, the experience invited designers to see textiles as expressions of light, movement, and meaning.
The Giverny Collection

Inspired by Claude Monet and the Impressionist movement—named for the garden where light became legend—the Giverny Collection honors the poetry of perception.
Capturing atmosphere, movement, and emotion through brushwork and layered color, the collection translates these principles into textiles—where color, tactility, and material depth work together to express light in motion.

Behind the Collection
Geraldine Blanchot Fortier
Raised near Giverny, Geraldine Blanchot Fortier brings a deeply personal connection to the collection’s sense of place. Her intuitive way of observing light, color, and nature shaped textile patterns that feel fluid, softened, and expressive—reflecting the same impressionistic perspective that inspired the Design Days experience.

Textiles as Art
During Design Days, commissioned textile artist Élodie Blanchard transformed Pallas textiles into a one-of-a-kind Monet-inspired fiber artwork. Created through layering, composition, and material expression, the piece reflected key qualities of Impressionism—softness, movement, and light—through textile rather than paint.
The collaboration brought the Giverny story to life in a tangible way, connecting art, nature, and textile craftsmanship within the Pallas Inspiration Center.
A Shared Textile Moment
TEXTILES AS ART
The hands-on textile experience invited individual perspectives to become part of a larger composition. Focused on layering material and composition in real time, the community artwork reflected individual input within a unified design.
