Pallas Textiles Introduces Transformations Collection

Release Date: April 26, 2019

GREEN BAY, WIS.Pallas Textiles is excited to introduce the Transformations Collection, a set of five designs leveraging symmetry to translate points, lines and shapes into variations of graphs and grids. The collection features bold patterns and complex linear elements to transform any interior.

The Transformations Collection includes the following five patterns:

Axis – An axis is an imaginary line used to ground a group of elements in a design, creating order and symmetry—making them grounded and approachable. Axis weaves bouclé yarns into a small-scale, slightly irregular grid. Tissue picks add dimension and unexpected color. Axis is available in 13 versatile shades.

Reflection – When a shape is flipped over a line, it is known as a reflection, which is also an underlying theme of design thinking. This non-woven plays with the rules of reflection with random lapses in the pattern. It’s available in a color-rich palette of 12 timeless neutrals and saturated hues.

Tessellation – In art and design, tessellations demonstrate reflective symmetry using one or more geometric shapes with no overlaps or gaps. Tessellation uses a deflected weft weave to create a texture-rich pattern with subtle rhythm. Bouclé yarn adds visual and tactile interest along with its 11 dynamic colorways.

Translation – A translation is the art of interpreting elements within a space. Translation takes a point of varying sizes and slides it to random locations. This pattern’s depth emerges through a matelassé construction, which gives it a quilted appearance and soft hand. Translation is available in 12 radiant colorways.

Vertices – Vertices are the “corners” of the design space … the point where two or more lines meet. This bold, large-scale geometric pattern is created by plotting parallel and perpendicular lines at varied angles and spaces. Vertices is available in nine complex color combinations.
