The Details™ Collection celebrates “design craft” – a term used by the online publication Handful of Salt to define the intersection of design, fine craft and art. The central principal of the term is hand (human and machine) and its connection to materials and how those materials are applied. The Details Collection is inspired by the makers and the qualities inherent to hand-crafted objects – integrity, exquisite craftsmanship and select choice of materials.

The Details Collection pays homage to makers and is reflective of the qualities that inspire and inform their process.

This hard, black glass-like stoneware named after the volcanic rock basalt, was used by James Turrell in collaboration with ceramist Nicholas Mosse to create a set of ceramics. The shapes are simple in form and have a light-absorbing surface. The fabric Basaltes has a slight sheen, subtle ovoid pattern and twinkles of colors running throughout to bring depth to the surface.

Basaltes is available in 11 colorways: Papier Mache, Dune, Sandalwood, Cinnabar, Cardinal, Amethyst, Ocean, Batik, Bronze, Peppercorn and India Ink.

Italian designer Andrea Brugi creates one-of-a-kind olive wood cutting boards. The boards’ shapes are free-formed and the simple beauty of the grain stands out. The soft stripes of the pattern Gather stack organically and fade in and out of a secondary texture. The vibrant colors clearly show all the subtle changes in the woven fabric.

Gather is available in 15 colorways: Stoneware, Bisque, Copper, Terra, Lacquer, Tenmoku, Mulberry, Celadon, Cerulean, Delft, Cobalt, Tin, Leather, Quartz and Ash.

The pattern Top Color is simple and organized, reminiscent of the placement and geometry found in mosaic tile work or modern quilts. It is the way the color is assembled that adds depth to the fabric and gives the entire surface a more expansive feel.

Top Color comes in 10 colors: Fossil, Sunset, Red Rock, Sedona, Passion Flower, Grasslands, Aquifer, River, Mountain and Pavement.

A simple running stitch can be the base of many techniques and designs - row after row of stitches both functional and beautiful. We love to see the irregularity that comes from the human hand and the precision of a machine-made group. Twine’s stitched surface has a regular rhythm that is enhanced by the change of color that builds from one line to the next.

Twine is available in 13 colorways: Alpaca, Bamboo, Maize, Tartan, Madras, Phthalo, Turquoise, Chambray, Shibori, Tweed, Bark Cloth, Flannel and Tuxedo.

The Details Collection focuses on high-performance, sustainable fabrics.

Basaltes includes 65% and Gather contains 49% post-consumer recycled polyester. Top Color includes 80% Repreve® recycled  polyester. Gather includes 22% and Twine 100% Bella Dura branded olefin, a proprietary fiber that is 100% recyclable.

Gather includes 22% and Twine is 100% Bella Dura® polyolefin, which is 100% recyclable, lightfast, inherently antimicrobial, anti-fungal and permanently stain resistant.

Basaltes, Gather, Top Color and Twine are bleach cleanable (CDC-approved 10:1 water/bleach mix). Rinse the surface with clear water after cleaning and wipe dry.

Gather and Twine offer Greenshield, an environmentally safe high-performance nanotechnology that builds permanent spill and stain resistance into the fiber structure of the fabric, while preserving the hand of the fabric.

Basaltes and Top Color offer INCASE™ fabric protection by Crypton®, featuring “repel and release” stain and microbial resistance that lasts the life of the fabric.

Top Color features 80% of Repreve® recycled yarn. The manufacturing process of Repreve recycled yarn conserves natural resources such as water and energy. In addition, Repreve yarns are certified for recycled content claims through Scientific Certification Systems (SCS).
